Recessed Lighting

Whether you're building a new home or renovating an old home, recessed lighting can be a key element in both the function and style of the space.

Recessed lighting offers a clean, streamlined look in a home. It can increase the amount of light in a room, highlight artwork or other special features, and open up spaces so they look and feel bigger

Recessed Lighting is designed for a wide range of ceiling conditions and light sources. The proper housing and trim should be used for your project. New Construction or Renovation is the first determination to be made when selecting recessed lights. New construction housings should be installed in a new home or addition where the ceiling is open for electrical work or where the ceiling is being replaced and there is access from above. Remodel housing should be installed in existing areas. Using the wrong housing can result in substantial energy loss, risk of fire, or simply a poorly illuminated area. This would be a waste of your money.

Any housing or recessed fixture that is in direct contact with thermal insulation must carry an IC (Insulated Ceiling) rating. Non-IC rated housings should be used away from insulation.

Let Bayberry Electric help you choose the proper lighting for your situation. We have the experience and knowledge. An incorrect fixture choice can result in substantial energy loss.

From our Angie’s list reports:

Description of work:  They installed recessed lighting in the living room.

Member Comments: The company was excellent and very reliable. The prices were very reasonable for the work we had done. I saw the lighting in a magazine and they were able to duplicate the work. The did exactly what we wanted.

Under Cabinet Lighting

  • LED
  • Fluorescent
  • Low Voltage Xenon
  • Halogen

Under Cabinet Lighting is a great way to add functional light to a room without taking up any space. It comes in many forms, and each form is a bit different. All Under Cabinet Lighting proves to be a great low energy lighting option. Lighting under cabinets can add a dramatic accent to your kitchen or bar.

Under Counter Lights
By adding gentle accent lighting under your cabinets and counters, you can improve the overall comfort and ambiance in your room. Under cabinet lights also provide efficient focused and task lighting ideal for kitchens, offices, laundry rooms, and tool benches. Under cabinet lights and under counter lights can be dimmed for mood lighting or used as a comforting backdrop.
