Recessed Lighting
Whether you're building a new home or renovating an old home, recessed lighting can be a key element in both the function and style of the space.
Recessed lighting offers a clean, streamlined look in a home. It can increase the amount of light in a room, highlight artwork or other special features, and open up spaces so they look and feel bigger
Recessed Lighting is designed for a wide range of ceiling conditions and light sources. The proper housing and trim should be used for your project. New Construction or Renovation is the first determination to be made when selecting recessed lights. New construction housings should be installed in a new home or addition where the ceiling is open for electrical work or where the ceiling is being replaced and there is access from above. Remodel housing should be installed in existing areas. Using the wrong housing can result in substantial energy loss, risk of fire, or simply a poorly illuminated area. This would be a waste of your money.
Any housing or recessed fixture that is in direct contact with thermal insulation must carry an IC (Insulated Ceiling) rating. Non-IC rated housings should be used away from insulation.
Let Bayberry Electric help you choose the proper lighting for your situation. We have the experience and knowledge. An incorrect fixture choice can result in substantial energy loss.
